Thrive is in network with some insurances. Please check with your insurance company to see if you are in network. You are responsible for verifying this. You will be responsible to pay for any non-covered sessions or ancillary work (consulting with schools, providers, etc).
If your Thrive counselor is not in network with your insurance, you will be required to pay for your session at time of service. At your request, your Thrive therapist will provide to you a ‘superbill’ that you can submit to your insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. Your insurance the pays you directly what they will cover per session according to your insurance coverage.
It is understandable that some clients will not want insurance to be able to access their mental health files and diagnosis, which is required for insurance reimbursement. Fee-for-service (full payment of services) is available at your request where your therapist will not submit records to your insurance if you chose. Please ask about this.
24-hour notice is required for cancellation. You will be charged the full session fee for cancellations made under 24-hours and insurance does not cover this. This will be discussed at intake by your therapist.
